Another Eight Return Home
Three Israelis and five Thai nationals—who spent 482 days in captivity—are home
Since Hamas carried out the October 7th Massacre, our mission has been clear:
To bring home all the hostages being cruelly and inhumanely held in Gaza.
Today, as part of these ongoing efforts, we welcomed home eight more hostages—three Israelis and five Thai nationals—who spent 482 days in captivity. That’s 482 days of darkness, suffering, and unimaginable hardship in Hamas’ cruel hands.
Have finally returned home, reuniting with their families and communities after 15 long months in captivity.
Arbel Yehoud, 29, Isareli-German citizen
On October 7th, Arbel was cruelly abducted from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz alongside her partner, Ariel Cunio, who still today remains captive in Gaza. Arbel’s brother, Dolev, was brutally murdered on that terrible day.
Agam Berger, 20
Agam was abducted from the Nahal Oz base along with Liri Albag, Naama Levi, Daniella Gilboa and Karina Ariev, who were returned from captivity last week Saturday - to read more about that click below
Liri, Naama, Daniella and Karina watched today as their friend and returning hostage, Agam, was transferred to the Red Cross.
This is the reality we are living in - a reality where returned hostages watch and pray for their friends who stayed in captivity to return as they did.
Gadi Moshe Mozes, 80, Isareli-German citizen
Gadi, a lifelong farmer and longtime resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz, was abducted along with five family members. His life partner, Efrat Katz, was tragically murdered by terrorists on that terrible day. Now, Gadi will finally reunite with his children and grandchildren, who have been anxiously awaiting his return.
Additionally, five Thai workers were also returned from captivity -
Bannawat Seatho, 28
Abducted from an agricultural sorting facility in southern Israel, married with three children.
Pongsak Thaenna, 36
Abducted from an agricultural sorting facility in southern Israel.
Sulasak Lumnao, 31
Abducted from an agricultural sorting facility in southern Israel.
Sathian Suwannakham, 35
Abducted from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz.
Watchara Sriaoun, 33
Abducted from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz, father to one child.
These men had moved to Israel in search of a better future for their families and were abducted and endured 15 months of captivity.
This is yet another testament to Hamas’ brutality: they did not care about race, ethnicity, or religion—they attacked and abducted anyone in their path.
As always I salute and embrace the returning hostages and their families.
We cannot and will not forget for a moment, the 82 hostages that remain in Hamas captivity - including Shiri Bibas and her two young children, Kfir and Ariel, whose welfare is of grave concern.
The IDF is fully committed to the agreement and will operate to fully implement it in accordance with the political directive. We will not allow Hamas to violate the agreement, and every violation will be answered.
We are preparing for the return of additional hostages this Saturday.
Our mission is not over until every single hostage comes home.
As we woke up in Israel this morning, we all saw the horrific news coming out of Washington D.C.
Our hearts are with all the victims, their families and the American people at this terrible time.
LTC Nadav Shoshani
Thank you, Nadav! May all the hostages be returned to their families, and may Hamas be eradicated from this World, G-d willing!!
