Exposing Hezbollah's Dirty Money
A Closer Look at How Hezbollah Funds its War Against Israel
What happens when a terrorist organization runs its own economy within a country?
Today, I will answer that question by diving into Hezbollah's hidden financial empire—a network that thrives on exploiting Lebanon’s economic crisis while secretly funding terror. Behind the scenes, Hezbollah isn't just smuggling weapons; they’re smuggling money—money that should be helping Lebanese civilians but is instead fueling attacks on Israel and lining the pockets of terrorists.
Let’s take a closer look at how Hezbollah does this and what Israel is doing to dismantle this dangerous machine.
Hezbollah has masterfully exploited Lebanon’s economic crisis to tighten its grip on the country. With a self-contained economy including its own health, education, and financial institutions, Hezbollah cleverly uses these fronts to mask its terror activities.
At the heart of this exploitation is the Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association, a Hezbollah-controlled financial arm that provides loans and financial services to the Lebanese people while secretly funding terror.
Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association, is a violation of international law, is sanctioned by the U.S. and other Western countries, yet continues to operate, intertwining the Lebanese people with Hezbollah’s terror agenda.
So, how does Hezbollah fund its terror activities?
The answer lies in two primary sources: Iranian support and the Lebanese people.
Iran’s Quds Force transfers funds to Hezbollah from Iranian oil sales in Syria. Iran also sends suitcases of cash to the Iranian Embassy in Beirut via diplomatic flights. Additionally, Hezbollah operates factories in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Turkey, generating income for its terrorist activities.
While the Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association offers financial services to the people of Lebanon, the interest on those loans ultimately enriches Hezbollah. This means that, while trying to make ends meet, everyday Lebanese civilians inadvertently contribute to their own oppression.
This flow of Iranian money not only fuels attacks against Israel but also deepens Lebanon’s financial crisis. As Hezbollah smuggles Iranian dollars into the country, it drives down the value of the Lebanese pound, further increasing Lebanon’s economic misery.
We have called on Lebanese civilians to move away from Hezbollah’s financial facilities, including those located in the Dahieh area, for their own safety. Following these warnings, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of targeted strikes on Hezbollah’s financial strongholds, aiming to degrade its ability to finance terror against Israel.
However, there is one target we did not strike—and do not plan to strike.
What is it ? A bunker.
What’s inside ? Hundreds of millions of dollars in the form of gold bars.
Whose is it ? It was Hassan Nasrallah’s.
Where is it ? Directly under Al-Sahel Hospital - in the heart of Beirut.
This bunker, concealed under a hospital and equipped for long-term stays with tunnels, beds, and operational infrastructure, allows Hezbollah to direct combat while hiding beneath civilians. This is just another example of Hezbollah’s cynical abuse of the Lebanese people by embedding itself and its terror infrastructure within civilian areas.
Attached is an illustration of the bunker:
Israeli Air Force aircraft are currently monitoring the compound—and will continue to do so. However, the IDF will not strike the hospital. Instead, we call on the Lebanese authorities to stop Hezbollah from taking this money for its terror activities and return it to its rightful owners, the Lebanese people..
We are not at war with the people of Lebanon; we are at war with Hezbollah.
Our mission is to dismantle Hezbollah’s terror network, including its financial terror machine, so that the people of northern Israel can return to their homes in safety and security.

If you wish even greater understanding of Hezbollah's shadowy world of terror, I would humbly suggest looking at the series of videos the Centre for Peace Communications and the Free Press have been doing entitled Hezbollah's Hostages -- the story of a silenced people. The 8 part series will conclude on 4 Nov but thus far it has been incredibly enlightening about the drug trafficking, and extortion which fuel Hezbollah. In this context, episode 3 -- the drug mule and episode 5 the shadow capital which is about Dahiyeh and what has gone on there really help to illustrate the problem of dirty money. But all the episodes provide insight and have helped me better understand the necessity of dismantling Hezbollah. Ep 2 about the sex slave was a hard watch (it was the first time a Syrian woman who was subjected to this has spoken out) https://www.thefp.com/hezbollahs-hostages
Great post. Thank you for doing G-d’s work.
