Key Operational Updates: From Iran to Lebanon
I’ll get right to the point and share some quick operational updates from the past 24 hours.
The Iran Front
Together with our American counterparts, we’re nearing the establishment of full aerial superiority in Iran.
We’re using that to our advantage.
As of this writing, the IDF has conducted over 113 waves of strikes on Iran. We’re talking well over 1,600 sorties and over 550 aerial refuelings conducted by IAF aerial tankers. These refuelings allow the Israeli Air Force to operate almost 1,000 miles away from Israel, taking the fight back to the Iranian regime that started it.
Targets that we struck include the targets associated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Basij organization in Tehran, as well as a central command center for the armed Internal Security forces.
The Israeli Air Force also continued to target ballistic missile production, aerial defense systems, storage and launch sites, including underground infrastructure. This is having a dramatic impact on the number of missiles Iran has been able to launch at Israel and other Middle Eastern countries. To date, we have neutralized 80% of Iran’s aerial defense systems and over 60% of its ballistic missile launchers, which has led to a dramatic decrease in the number of missile launches towards Israel.
The Lebanon Front
(Which is actually the Iranian front, since Hezbollah forced itself into the war, protecting Iran at the expense of Lebanon’s residents.)
Overnight, Hezbollah continued to fire at communities and cities throughout northern Israel. The IDF continues to be deployed in forward defensive postures to protect the residents of Israel. We will not allow an October 7th-style attack on the residents of northern Israel.
So we fight back against Hezbollah.
We continued attacks on Hezbollah cells. Early this morning, the Israeli Air Force — acting on strong intelligence — targeted several Hezbollah command centers, including one used by the terrorist organization’s aerial unit.
Last night, IDF troops identified several Hezbollah terrorists who entered a structure used by the terrorist organization as a command center in the area where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon. The IDF targeted and eliminated the operatives —footage of the strike is below.
Hamas in Lebanon
The radical axis that connects Iran to Hezbollah and to Hamas comes together in Lebanon, too. So in the first strike of this operation in Tripoli, the Israeli Navy eliminated the Hamas (yes, Hamas) commander responsible for training in Tripoli, Lebanon — Wasim Attallah Ali. Ali was a Hamas commander and was responsible for training and exercises in Hamas’ military wing in Lebanon.
But Hezbollah is deeply entrenched, especially in the Daheiya neighborhood of Beirut — a Hezbollah stronghold where Nasrallah was eliminated.
So earlier today, the IDF warned the residents of the neighborhood to evacuate. Hezbollah regrettably pulled Lebanon into Iran’s war, but the IDF must act to defend Israeli civilians.

One Way You Can Help
If I can ask one favor — as you may have seen yourself, the war is as much online as it is over Isfahan and Tehran (okay, maybe not as much, but still).

Excellent update. Thank you for all you and the IDF are doing. May HaShem continue to guide and Israel and the IDF. Am Yisrael Chai. 🙏🇮🇱✡️
Thanks LTC for your regular updates. It is really a crucial time not only for Israel but also for entire world and human civilization. It is the conflict between good and evil. Israel has to step very very cautiously. In one side, no terrorist activity or idealism is to be encouraged and on the other huge impact on domestic economy and civilians life is to be accounted for. You are fighting an exemplary battle for which no appreciation is sufficient. Your patriotism, commitment and dedication will make you victorious in the long run. May God be with you in every step.
