It’s hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since that dark day. Tomorrow, we will pause to remember October 7th—the day Hamas launched its unprovoked, barbaric attack on our communities in southern Israel.
They came with a singular mission: to spread terror, destruction, and death.
On that day, hundreds of families were torn apart, lives were stolen, and our nation was deeply shaken. I was among the countless reservists who dropped everything to answer the call, uncertain of what lay ahead but knowing that this was a fight for survival, for our people, and for the very future of the State of Israel.
Since then, the pain has not faded, but neither has our resolve. We have faced the brutal reality of this past year with courage and strength, as we have continued to fight on multiple fronts to protect our families, our communities, and our life.
Tomorrow, I will be sharing a more personal reflection—an account of the past year and a tribute to those we lost. I will tell the stories of the hostages, of those who returned home and those we continue to fight for, and of the unwavering spirit that has carried us through this most difficult year.
Join me tomorrow as we reflect on the tragedy and the strength that has defined our nation this past year.
Israel defends the civilization and must be supported by all democratic nations...
I am aware Israel is the only nation trying to destroy terrorism. May you have continued success.
