Red Cross general protocol - to ensure warring parties understand the Red Cross's presence and to maintain neutrality - is communication when going to, particularly sending a convoy, an incident / potential or stated combat zone. PRC (aka Red Cross) has not provided any evidence or statement such procedures were followed nor comment by IDF on that matter: surely that is a central point, particularly given Hamas exploits Principle of Distinction, cardinal LoAC. Yes, IDF must enact standards, but shouldn't also Red Cross/PRC, especially as Hamas doesn't. Who called PRC to the scene? (Hamas?). Why did PRC send a convoy for an incident involving one vehicle? If PRC didn't update IDF, why not? These important questions require answering: Red Cross - including its PRC - must have neutrality & responsibility for deconfliction by making aware its attending to an incident / combat zone.

From what I learned earlier today is that The IDF reported the incident to the UN. This is not how it was reported by The NY Times and BBC. Unfortunately they slanted the information to make it seem as if the IDF intentionally covered up the story. There is lots of pressure and sometimes immediate responses are necessary. Mistakes are made in war. It is unfortunate.

Picture My Shocked & Surprised Face.

The NY Times tells me today is Apr. 21 2025. Can you verify that?

It's a war and sad it it has always been and will always happen. Innocents get caught in the crossfire and are mistaken. The enemy wears clothes to mix in, they hide in purely non-combat places to use them as shields. You all are doing an awesome job, and compared to any ANY army before you from all countries, you hold the highest honor of caring and taking precautions.

It's very unjust all the negative press, but this is the 21st century, the asylum is now run by the inmates and patients. Ignore them as much as you can - move on, during your best, it is now becoming visible to most, you are the best army in the world.

The fact stands that this incident wouldn't have happened if October 7 hadn't happened. This is on Hamas.

We thank you, for this, most honest and transparent response. Given the vile actions of the terrorist entity that the IDF are up against, secreting themselves within medical facilities, schools, kindergarten, private homes, a mistake of this nature is to be expected. Your level of honesty and transparency is praiseworthy. we support our troops and pray that Hashem showers the IDF with success on the battlefield and smites this vile enemy into smithereens May he keep a brave and magnificent troops safe and may he guide the return of the hostages sooner than later.
