LTC Hecht I watched your interview with Skynews on the 16th December. Kudos for you! I get so annoyed at these presenters I just have to walk away but if you are there or anyone of your colleagues who have to suffer these people I stick around so as not to disrespect your efforts. I hope that they retain their journalistic enthusiasm if and when they interview some Hamas/Hezbollah leaders or better still an Iranian leader who punish women for not covering their head properly!
Stephen Sucker on Hardtalk interviewed Mr N Bennett and during the interview intimidated that Israel wants to control the Palestinian school curriculum when Mr Bennett reminded him how Palestinian children are indoctrinated even in UNWRA-run schools to hate Jews and Israel. Really Mr Sucker!! That is your educated conclusion on the matter?!
If all of this was not tragic it will be hilarious! Or has everyone lost the plot?!

Now that the campaigning for the European Parliament is starting (with the excuse of wishing us a Happy Christmas🤪) I promise to send an e-mail to anyone of them who asks for my vote about what is no one talking about namely what is really happening in Israel. I have already started with one of them.

Hezbollah is Hamas on steroids. For the security of Israel it too needs to be completely destroyed. With Hezbollah on its border Israel will never be safe. The withdrawal from Southern Lebanon and the abandonment of the SLA ( South Lebanon Army) now seems to be a massive mistake. When land is withdrawn from, that land then becomes a military base for armies that have a one goal in life to destroy Israel.
Oh wow just been reading about ‘David’s Sling’, (due to its intriguing name). The defence arsenal at disposal seems to address all possible level of missile and aircraft attack. I’m quite in awe of the talent designing these weapons, it is like something out of a Star Wars movie, with a layered defence system. Interesting that Finland is going to upgrade, suggests something about their perceived vulnerability.
What a great post! I love reading about the tech Israel uses to save lives, essentially ensuring the vast majority of missile attacks are a huge waste of enemy money and effort. I have wondered about debris from rockets falling from the sky and whether that poses a risk to buildings / civilians. Great to read about the F35i and its role in defence, as of the most enhanced fighter variants. I do wonder in the UK if we are going to be prepared for any internal destabilising factions, as warfare is changing and I think Israel is more prepared than most nations in the tactics and strategies of a less visible enemy. Despite the risk it must be one of the most fulfilling jobs you can do, defending Israel using the best technology in the world.
