On Sunday (19.01.25), Romi Gonen (24), Doron Steinbrecher (31), and Emily Damari (28), returned home and reunited with their families after 471 days in Hamas’ brutal captivity.

It can’t be easy to find the right balance between welcoming the hostages home while being mindful of those still suffering & alive who we desperately want to be returned. What these young women have endured is beyond our comprehension. All we can do is pray we have made available what they need to begin their transition back home. From previous hostages we have an inkling of how Hamas treated them. How they survived is a miracle we give thanks for. Their faith has been tested & every person in Israel wants to enfold them in unconditional love. The words welcome home are insufficient to express our feelings. To Romi, Emily, Doran,Liri, Naama, Karina & Daniella we are blessed to have you home & we pray that you feel our enormous gratitude that G-d has enabled your return. Every day we prayed for this to occur & we will continue to pray until your remaining fellow hostages return home. You are extraordinary young women & we salute you.
