What is even the point of the UN? It seems utterly corrupt. Surely they are aware they have a tunnel under their building and a rocket launcher nearby?
Many thx for the update. May G protect the IDF . Am Yizrael Chai. We love you and thank you for sacrifice you are making for us all in the civilised world
From the book Band of Brothers but somewhat applicable here. “Almighty God, we kneel to Thee and ask to be the instrument of Thy fury in smiting the evil forces that have visited death, misery, and debasement on the people of the earth . . . . Be with us, God, when we leap from our planes into the dark abyss and descend in parachutes into the midst of enemy fire. Give us iron will and stark courage as we spring from the harnesses of our parachutes to seize arms for battle. The legions of evil are many, Father; grace our arms to meet and defeat them in Thy name and in the name of the freedom and dignity of man . . . . Let our enemies who have lived by the sword turn from their violence lest they perish by the sword. Help us to serve Thee gallantly and to be humble in victory.”
1. Thanks for your service to the Jewish People, sir.
2. Could you speak more about what the IDF does to protect civilians? I have been listening to an excellent podcast called The Urban Warfare Podcast by Major John Spencer of West Point. Lt. Col Conricus of the IDF spoke this week. What impressed me was the steps that t the IDF takes to minimize impact on civilians and that the military units who executes missions have an embedded legal consultant.
3. Please discuss aspects of what makes particular actions legal and illegal in a state of wart. Again in the Urban Warfare podcast, Dr Daphne Richemon-Barak a lawyer and expert on underground tunnels discussed various aspects of what makes particular actions legal or illegal in war.
Thanks for these updates, good to get the facts. What amazes me with some of the media reporting is the assertion that Israel is responsible for civilian casualties. Hamas is responsible for the welfare of the people of Gaza and clearly has no interest in this, whereas Israel does everything it can to try and prevent civilian deaths. But every interview with IDF or govt official ends up with the responsibility being placed on Israel and not Hamas. Hamas knew exactly what the response to October 7th would be, and they did it regardless as they only care about destruction of the Jewish state.

Thank you for an opportunity to ask questions.

Sir, do you think this war can really be won?
