I have stopped getting my updates on the war against terror Israel is fighting from CNN, BBC and the lot because I cannot stand their bias. It is always the same as long as I can remember.
I am a non-Jew but I could never understand anti-Israel or anti-semitism. The amount of misconceptions, historical medieval rhetoric and lack of education on the matter is mind boggling.
I value these updates very much.
I am often asked why I am so pro-Israel ? My answer is .... why NOT!!
Thank you not inflaming the horrors, but simply telling the truth, which is shattering in itself. Isrsel has tried economically, and with great infastructure to improve lives of Palestinians. But your kindness has been met with constant hatred.
Do what you must to save Israel. I am sure your hearts are heavy but you must not stop until the Hamas organization is dismantled, lawyers, accountants, bankers, anyone who helps Hamas committee genocide of Jews.
There’s a hamas actor with crazy side burns who shows up in all the scenes - in the hospital with ekg, on the floor as a casualty. And most recently as an an outraged civilian in connection with the ambulance (cnn loop has him). These actors should be outed as actors so people understand the hamas media campaign focused on our basic instincts for decency.
So deeply, deeply grateful to all of you in the IDF and other forces who are defending Israel. Thank you, LTC Hecht, so much for these dispatches and for your service.
I just posted this piece about the rockets on Twitter, though for anyone who does that, it's important to put the link in a separate tweet below so Twitter doesn't block it (because it's Substack). Look up my feed (@amyalkon) if you want to see how I did that. Posted about 10:35 PM Pacific Time, Sat. Nov. 4.)
If Colonel Hecht sets up a custom domain with Substack the entire history of his articles and comments will be auto-synced over to it. The custom domain bypasses Twitter substack blocks. There is a small one time fee. Other substack authors love it.
Great suggestion. I know someone who did it -- it was a bit tough. But I'm figuring the IDF has some tech geniuses on staff! I mean, this IS Israel. Max Gill, from the Technion, was in Detroit for a while, and was a friend of my mom, so I heard quite a bit about the sort of place it is!
Thank you, every one of you, Israeli, Jew, or otherwise, who is invested in the survival and thriving of Israel. IDF is doing the world a favor - in the face of huge pressure (fuck you, world -- we Jews would rather be alive than popular!) -- in taking out every single one of the Hamas terrorists and all the others it can. So grateful. HUGELY grateful.
I seem to remember rockets being fired into Israel civilian areas for longer than 17 years. Do you mean they have fired steadily for 17 years but other times more sporadically?
I bet there is massive variability in the quality of their rockets, as so many are DIY jobs. They have simple technology, so don’t have the option of accuracy, it’s all about impact / terror.
They accurately invaded Left wing Israeli villages with Palestinian death squads, so you can rest assured that if they had more accuracy they’d use it to more accurately murder civilians. They don’t care about Palestinian civilians either - dropping rockets on them, denying them shelter in tunnels, denying them fuel, water, medicine and food they’ve stolen from UNRWA and other aid providers, and firing from behind and under their civilians.

Thanks for these updates, they demonstrate quite clearly that any calls for a ceasefire are misplaced. Hamas leaders have stated they have no interest in peace and they will continue their attacks, why aren't the media etc demanding they stop firing rockets in Israel. https://www.wsj.com/articles/israel-gaza-hamas-pause-antony-blinken-joe-biden-5265b7fd?mod=hp_opin_pos_2#cxrecs_s
Thank you for these updates, LTC Hecht. Here is what I posted on my website, Soldier of Fortune. ~Susan Katz Keating
